I observed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fireflyforest.com\/flowers\/1653\/monoptilon-bellioides-mojave-desertstar\/\">Monoptilon bellioides (Mojave Desertstar)<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fireflyforest.com\/flowers\/7\/penstemon-subulatus-hackberry-beardtongue\/\">Penstemon subulatus (Hackberry Beardtongue)<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fireflyforest.com\/flowers\/308\/calochortus-kennedyi-desert-mariposa-lily\/\">Calochortus kennedyi (Desert Mariposa Lily)<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fireflyforest.com\/flowers\/1633\/mirabilis-laevis-desert-wishbone-bush\/\">Mirabilis bigelovii (Wishbone-bush)<\/a> here.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fireflyforest.net\/images\/firefly\/2005\/April\/Sweetwater-Trail.jpg\" alt=\"Rock outcropping along Sweetwater Trail in Tucson, AZ\" title=\"Rock outcropping along Sweetwater Trail in Tucson, AZ\" width=\"480\" height=\"389\" class=\"post-photo\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Behind the rock outcropping in the above photograph, the sprawling city of Tucson can be seen in the distance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I hiked part of the of the Sweetwater Trail on March 26, and it was beautiful with a wide variety of wildflowers.
