I don&#8217;t live too far away from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dm.af.mil\/\">Davis-Monthan Air Force Base<\/a>, and this weekend they were having their annual <a href=\"http:\/\/community.azstarnet.com\/slideshows\/flash\/index.php?id=490\">Heritage Flight Conference<\/a>. The free air show from my house has been fun to see, but it can be seen much better near the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pimaair.org\/\">Pima Air and Space Museum<\/a>. While in my backyard, I did manage to capture one of the aircraft with my camera, an F-4 Phantom II with its distinctive anhedral tail.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fireflyforest.net\/images\/firefly\/2006\/March\/F-4-Phantom.jpg\" alt=\"F-4 Phantom II\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" class=\"post-photo\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It had been painted in brown and green camouflage, which is obviously meant to hide it on the ground and not in the sky.
