These small grapes turn a purplish-blue color when they are ripe, but these ones were still stubbornly an unripe green.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/fireflyforest.net\/images\/firefly\/2005\/July\/Vitis-arizonica.jpg\" alt=\"Unripe Canyon Grapes (Vitis arizonica)\" title=\"Unripe Canyon Grapes (Vitis arizonica)\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" class=\"post-photo\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our native Canyon Grapes are edible, but they are very small and mostly seed.
