Funny-looking Saguaros

I spotted these rather amusing Saguaros (Carnegiea gigantea) in late May in Saguaro National Park, Tucson Mountain District.

Saguaros 65 to 75 years old will begin to randomly grow arms, and from that point on they become quite individualized in appearance, with harsh weather conditions adding even more "character". These Saguaros were flowering, which they do every year in the arid heat of May and June here in Tucson.
