On February 3, 2006, I visited the Tucson International Gem & Mineral Show for a second time. This show ran from January 27 to February 12, 2006 at many locations around Tucson. As always, there was a wide variety of interesting items for sale from all around the World, from an illuminated giant Quartz crystal…
To a giant carved wooden Buddha head…
And a mysterious-looking Quartz sphere lamp with a giant Tourmaline crystal inset in the lamp base.
I was fascinated by these monstrous petrified trees and tree stumps from Indonesia…
And this huge Terataspis grandis, a giant spiny Trilobite from the Onondaga Limestone of western New York.
There were these lovely polished botryoidal Malachite specimens…
And a naughty army of carved stone penises, some in anatomically impossible sizes.
