What Blooms in Tucson in June?
June 3, 2007June in Tucson is very hot and dry and most of our spring wildflowers have long since shriveled, but June is also the time that our Agaves (Agave spp.) like A. chrysantha and A. schottii bloom in the mountain foothills and upland areas around Tucson. Good places to see them are in the upper parts of Sabino Canyon and along Redington Road.
