2008 Tombstone Rose Festival

The 2008 Tombstone Rose Festival will be held in Tombstone, Arizona on April 12-13 to celebrate the 123rd blooming of the World's largest rose tree, a giant Lady Banks Rose (Rosa banksiae) known as the Tombstone Rose. My own Lady Banks Roses here in Tucson also flower in early April, and they are in full bloom in my garden at this time.
