Samsara
Samsara is the eternal, endless cycle of birth, suffering, death, and rebirth in Hinduism and Buddhism. In Sanskrit, it means "course of life" and is literally translated as "together it flows". It's also the name of one of my favorite songs by Rasa, available as a free download from Amazon.com. I like to have some relaxing New Age, World, or Classical music playing when I'm working at the computer or studying, it helps me concentrate and focus better.
I also play this peaceful music when I'm working at identifying plants in my collection of thousands of plant photographs, as this can be amazingly difficult and frustrating. There seems to be an endless cycle where plant species are separated by botanists (or taxonomists) into two or more species, then combined again into one species with multiple varieties, and then back again, and of course frequently renamed in the process, with genus, species, variety, and common names all in flux. I think that this may be happening more now that plants can be categorized by using new, genetic methods. Plant books even just a few years old are often already out of date, so now I always check with the Plants National Database which has the most current names and taxonomy.
